A Modern Furniture App

for the Urban Customer

A self initiated project to build an android app for the urban user for their furniture needs. The focus was to create an app with an in-depth category experience from browsing, selection, experiencing and purchase.

Guiding Principles

Simple and intuitiveness

Engaging and real-like

Rich and immersive

Contextual

Four groups of Nexus phone mockups on a soft grey gradient: the department and category browse screens, an ideaboard with tagged products, the 2BHK room picker with room-by-room collections, and the product sheet with its augmented-reality view of a chair placed in a real room

Category Navigation

Category navigation designed for easy discovery of furniture products

Users are navigated to the products in 2 ways 1. Users who are looking for specific products 2. Users who wish to furnish their entire house

Ideaboards

Collection of curated collection of furnitures that make an entire look of a room that lets users buy according to their taste and decision making

Interactive Product bried tags tell the most important information without going to product page

Ideaboards can be saved for later viewing so that users can return back anytime and buy their favorite products

Furnish a Flat

Furniture Ideaboards are shown according to the rooms user chooses to furnish so that we show only the relevant products as per user needs.

The collections are intend to present the wholistic experience of individual rooms to encourage users to furnish their entire space.

Due to the wide selection, users can mix and match according to their style and often will buy across all category.

Augmented Reality

Through revolutionary means of Augmented reality and High Rendering 3D tchnologies, users can experience the selected products in their actual living space. This is as REAL as it can get.
